This is a dictionary of 1500 words in 300 Indonesian languages, digitised from the volumes published by Stokhof & Saleh-Bronkhorst in the 1980s. Their work collated the numerous vocabularies that had been produced by local officials throughout the country between 1881–1939 as part of Karel Holle's effort to document the various languages of the archipelago. The aim of this project, in its initial phase, is to preserve and present this resource in a far more efficient, useable manner than was ever available to the authors at the time. [see more]
